Our Projects:
Project Setu
Project Setu (or Supplementary Education and Training Unit) is the mechanism through which we set up and run learning centres in low-resource settings. The objective of the project is to identify communities where we can start up a learning centre. Once that is done, we hire teachers and program officers from the community to oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre.
Digital Storytellers for Social Change (DiSSC)
Aryan Group collaborated with communication agency, words. rhythms. images, to train young people in 3 communities on digital storytelling. Funded by the Humanitarian Innovation Fund, the crux of this project was to teach young people to use their mobile phones to make videos about the issues that they face and to package it in a powerful way with the aim of seeking a practical solution.
